Dear Friends of Cedar Key,

The Lutterloh Building, headquarters of the Cedar Key Historical Society has stood for 131 years on the corner of State Road 24 and Second Street, the most important intersection of Cedar Key.

With its bright pink walls and five flags flying, it welcomes visitors and tourists to our town. It is a great economic stimulus for Cedar Key’s business community. Beyond that, it serves our local school students and those of surrounding counties as a source of historical data and artifacts. Most important, the museum preserves the history, heart and culture of Cedar Key.

Unfortunately, the Lutterloh Building is in serious need of structural repair. The city and state have recognized this and agreed to grant a considerable amount of money to restore the building. We, the society members and friends, must raise a significant, not matching amount of $50,000.00. We request and need your help.

Please give what you can. All donations are tax deductible and will be promptly acknowledged. Donors of $250.00 or more will be recognized on a prominently displayed permanent plaque.

Sincerely yours,

Marianne McEuen, Co-chair
Fundraising Committee
