Cedar Key Historical Society

The Cedar Key Historical Society was established in 1977 by a group of citizens dedicated to preserving the long and rich history of Cedar Key.

Our purpose is to encourage and foster interest in this history. The Society is a steward of the surrounding area, preserving its unique heritage.

The museum opened its doors in 1979 in the historic Lutterloh building on the corner of 2nd street and SR24.

Museum hours:
Open Sunday through Friday
1 to 4 p.m. and
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Admission: Adults - $1.00
Children – 50 cents.
