Cedar Key Historical Society

The Cedar Key Historical Society was established in 1977 by a group of citizens dedicated to preserving the long and rich history of Cedar Key.

Our purpose is to encourage and foster interest in this history. The Society is a steward of the surrounding area, preserving its unique heritage.

The museum opened its doors in 1979 in the historic Lutterloh building on the corner of 2^nd street and SR24.
